Talwar from Rajasthan, born on 12 th Jan, 1973 she went to Kendriya Vidyalayas and graduated from lady Sri Ram College, New Delhi, first she got her break as a television presenter for the Albela Sur Mela in 1998. Then came Dangal where she played the mother of four girl child which gave her the global recognition. She had Dadasaheb Phalke Academy awards for best leading actor and worked as creative director for Samman Ek Adhikar.
